Zimmer GmbH Daempfungssysteme: Bullito – Flexible stainless steel damper for highest demands

As one of the technology leaders in the furniture damper segment, Zimmer GmbH Daempfungssysteme - a subsidiary of the Zimmer Group - has been demonstrating its innovative strength with individual solutions for decades. The latest creation of the innovator of the first hour is Bullito - a stainless steel damper for highest demands.

With the new Bullito fluid damper series, the company closes the gap between furniture and industrial applications. The dampers can be designed specifically for the individual needs of the customers and that already from a small number of pieces! Thanks to their extremely robust stainless steel design, the dampers have an enormously long service life of more than 250,000 cycles compared to standard furniture dampers. The dampers are particularly suitable for applications in the construction sector, such as in lift-and-slide and panorama doors, skylights or in glazing for conservatories, or also in mechanical engineering for industrial fittings, safety doors, heavy-duty pull-outs and in workshop trolleys.

Thanks to the robust and food contact-proof stainless steel housing, the dampers can also be used without hesitation in industrial kitchens or in store fitting.

The versatile Bullito dampers can still decelerate smoothly in a weight class of up to 200 kg (< 25 joules) and a speed of up to 0.5 m/sec. What's more, with their flexible stroke of 60 -140 millimeters and their small outer diameter of 10 millimeters, the powerful dampers can be integrated into even the tightest installation situations. Thanks to a wide variety of connections at the end of the piston rod, the new Bullito dampers can be used as individual components in the respective customer's fitting and are available with and without return spring.
