We are looking to hire a skilled robot programmer to design and install robot workcells for our clients. You will be traveling to clients' locations, within India as well as abroad, analysing system requirements, writing and installing robot based software, testing system efficiency, and providing operational support.
Software developer robotics (Pune/Kikvi)
Main tasks / Your contribution:
- Traveling to clients' locations.
- Meeting with clients to discuss their mechanical or electrical automation needs
- Develop and implement software programs for robotic systems
- Programming and setting up industrial robots
- Write, test, and debug code for robot controllers and related systems
- Carrying out robot simulations for feasibility studies and designs
- Design and implementation of interfaces between robotics and corresponding cells or units
- Implementation of safety requirements in programming
- Ensure seamless communication between robots and peripheral devices
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on robotic systems
- Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to integrate robotic solutions into manufacturing and production processes
Requirement profile / Your qualities:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics / Computer Science / Electrical / Mechatronics engineering
- At least 3 years’ practical experience in robot programming (ABB, KUKA, Fanuc, etc.)
- Knowledge of technical standards (robotics) desirable
- Experience in the field of control technology and process sequences
- Exceptional logic reasoning abilities, excellent mathematics, and arithmetic skills
- Sound knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and software principles
- Ability to solve complex problems
- Initiative, ability to work in a team, reliability, willingness to learn
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Good IT and English skills
- (Inter-)cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Knowledge of German and any other languages are considered an advantage
- Willingness to work in Germany for 18 to 24 months
