We are looking to hire a skilled PLC programmer to design and install controller system software for our clients. You will be traveling to clients' locations, within India as well as abroad, analysing system requirements, writing and installing custom programmable logic code, testing system efficiency, and providing operational support.
Software developer PLC (Pune/Kikvi)
Main tasks / Your contribution:
- Traveling to clients' locations.
- Meeting with clients to discuss their mechanical or electrical automation needs
- Drawing electrical or mechanical schematics to demonstrate how processes will work
- Reading and interpreting the logical flow diagram
- Development of PLC programs with TwinCAT3 or Siemens TIA Portal
- Design and development of modern, modular control architectures
- Implementation of safety requirements in programming
- Testing automated systems for efficiency, safety, and reliability
- Troubleshooting system errors
- Maintaining the PLC programs.
- Working in coordination with Engineering and Production team.
Requirement profile / Your qualities:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical / electronics / mechatronics engineering
- At least 3 years’ practical experience with PLC programming (Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 or CodeSys in ST, Siemens TIA in SCL)
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing and mechanical processes.
- Knowledge of technical standards (mechanical and plant engineering) desirable
- Experience in the field of control technology and process sequences
- Exceptional logic reasoning abilities, excellent mathematics, and arithmetic skills
- Sound knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and software principles
- Detailed knowledge of PLC automation software and coding languages
- Ability to solve complex problems
- Initiative, ability to work in a team, reliability, willingness to learn
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Good IT and English skills
- (Inter-)cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Knowledge of German and any other languages are considered an advantage
- Additional programming skills (Python, HTML, JS) will be an advantage
- Willingness to work in Germany for 18 to 24 months
