Challenge
The customer requested a double gripper for a lathe. Since only one small robot with a low load capacity was used in this customer's application, the weight needed to be kept in mind in particular when designing the gripper.
Solution
A lightweight and rugged double gripper was designed for machine loading that consists entirely of Zimmer Group standard components.
