Challenge
Steel parts are being machined in this application example. Precisely feeding different wheel carrier variants into a hydraulic expansion chuck was a special challenge.
Solution
The solution was a pneumatic loading and unloading stroke integrated into the gripper. In addition, an active pressure unit for holding while clamping was used in the device.
