The AMB series in detail

Slides
The AMB series impresses with three slide lengths and up to two slides per axis, which can reliably support high loads. Numerous threads with fitting holes and centering sleeves support reproducible mounting. Thanks to the magnets installed as standard on the carriage, optional magnetic field sensors can be easily integrated - even at a later date.
Toothed belt drive
Designed for maximum speeds and accelerations, the belt-driven linear axes are ideal for applications requiring high dynamics, short cycle times and large strokes. In addition, they offer high drive torques and a high degree of skip protection.
Guidance System
The recirculating ball guidance system provides unrivaled load capacity and durability. Lubrication ports on both sides of the carriage ensure easy maintenance in any installation situation. This also allows the use of automated lubrication systems.
Clamping Element
For added safety, the toothed belt axes can be supplied with or without an integrated clamping element, depending on the requirements. The optionally available clamping element fits perfectly into the slide. This means that there are no interfering contours or increases in the length. Thanks to the NC design, the position can be held securely without compressed air, thus saving energy and costs.
Cover strip and strip guide
The optional cover strip reliably protects the inside of the axis from external influences and helps to maximize its service life. The cover strip clicks into the axis profile, sealing it securely against dust and dirt and holding it reliably in position.
DRIVETRAIN
The linear axis with toothed belt drive from the AMB series can optionally be supplied with a drivetrain including coupling, gearbox, motor and drive controller, as well as other accessories. The symmetrical design ensures that the selected and coordinated drive components can be easily connected at four possible positions.

The innovative, modular spindle support effectively prevents the spindle from vibrating at high speeds, thereby enabling maximum traverse speeds, even with large strokes.
