This application from AAE North America focuses on the precise assembly of drain plugs into a molded housing. The GEP2000 small-parts gripper automatically retrieves each plug from the magazine and, in conjunction with the robot, inserts it with precision—including an integrated O-ring check and an intelligent counter-torque feature that reliably prevents the thread from becoming misaligned.
