Fleet management is responsible for controlling, planning and monitoring an AMR fleet within a company. The fleet management system we use, in combination with MOSAIC.mobile, enables us to deliver the complete package. With this fleet management system, you can already implement the simulation of future routes at the start of the project. In the process itself, fleet management controls and optimizes the motion tasks, route planning and charging management of the individual vehicles in a way that saves costs and time. In addition, we integrate fleet management into existing IT infrastructures and your ERP/MES system via MOSAIC.mobile to enable a fully automated logistics process.

Our approach to implementation
Analysis and concept development: We analyze your specific requirements and develop the ideal automation concept. The layout of the system is created based on the system layout in order to have to make as few adjustments as possible and to guarantee you the best integration.
Real-time simulation and parameterization: A simulation of the system is carried out in real time in order to identify possible challenges at an early stage. All important parameters are taken into account and adapted.
Integration into existing systems: Our solutions can be seamlessly integrated into your existing ERP system and control technology (MES) to enable efficient control and monitoring.
MOSAIC – the central solution
MOSAIC acts as an intelligent link between the production and building management system on the one hand and the fleet management of the vehicles on the other. If driverless transport systems are used in the overall system, the software products MOSAIC.mobile and Navitec are used. MOSAIC.mobile manages the fleet, acts as an interface to local MES/ERP systems and controls the superstructures on the driverless transport systems. In addition, it communicates with structural equipment, such as hall doors, as well as with machines and systems to which stacks, carriage units or other transport media have to be conveyed.
Navitec is the fleet management system and consists of a part that is integrated in the vehicle. This part knows the status (battery charge, malfunctions, etc.) of the vehicles and the vehicle environment. The second part is fleet management, which manages the motion tasks orders and assigns them to the individual AMR devices. It knows the condition of the devices as a whole. The charging strategy, for example, is also mapped in fleet management.
MOSAIC.mobile includes the following, among other things:
- MOSAIC as a link between the production and building infrastructure and fleet management
- Interface and processing function between the customer MES/ERP and the vehicle level (fleet management)
- Manages the vehicle superstructures and closes the communication gap between the machine level and vehicles
In addition, the module enables the detailed management of vehicle superstructures – such as specific loading devices or means of transport – and thus closes the communication gap that often exists between the machine control and mobile intralogistics.
